Engineering software made practical
ESA Motion is an engineering-software platform developed by Esacode, LLC. Our goal is to make specialized design and fabrication workflows accessible without forcing every project into a heavyweight general-purpose CAD environment.
FrameDesigner is the first ESA Motion product. It focuses on tubular structures: custom vehicle frames, race-car and replica chassis, roll cages, buggies, prototypes, exhaust routing, and other projects where geometry must eventually become cut, bent, notched, welded, and assembled material.
Why ESA Motion exists
Many builders move between CAD, spreadsheets, tube-bending references, printed notch templates, hand calculations, and fabrication notes. ESA Motion is intended to bring those steps closer together while keeping the workflow visual and understandable.
We also publish tutorials and engineering resources because software alone is not enough. A useful tool should help a builder understand what is being designed, why a particular workflow matters, and what must still be independently checked before fabrication.
What we publish
- Step-by-step FrameDesigner tutorials based on real design tasks.
- Practical guidance for tubular-frame layout, bends, joints, notches, measurements, and exports.
- Engineering resources explaining material, fabrication, and simulation concepts.
- Product documentation and support for ESA Motion users.
Keeping the project sustainable
ESA Motion is intended to remain useful to builders who may not have the budget for traditional engineering software. Selected public Tutorial and Blog pages may therefore contain advertising. The purpose is to help cover development, infrastructure, and content costs so meaningful free functionality can remain available to DIYer and maker communities and so paid subscriptions do not have to carry the full cost of the project.
Advertising is separated from account, billing, support, legal, and product-workspace pages. We would rather use public educational content to support part of the platform than make every useful feature dependent on a paid subscription.
Engineering responsibility
ESA Motion tools are design aids. They do not replace the judgment of a qualified engineer, fabricator, vehicle builder, or other professional where professional review is required. Designs used in safety-critical structures should be independently reviewed and validated for their intended application.
